We live in polarising times and many can't even see their own extremism.
But extremists always want you to pick sides, to show your colours, to swear allegiance to their cause or else label you to be of the other extreme.

Per Kremlin, Russia is negotiating joint management of the station with US WITHOUT Ukraine's participation, with the option to then sell electricity to Ukraine.

Zaporizhzhia is Ukraine.

And Europe simply rolled over when trump finally shredded the WTO by raising tariffs. He had previously reduced its ability to function during trump 1. Not Biden didn't reverse some of the actions.

Hmmm. I think you are flailing at windmills. That order has actually been dead for some time and Europe is partly responsible, by letting russia take parts of Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. What rules if you can invade a country and get away with it?

Can't see the troops who have been defending the East agreeing to that. It also makes no sense to give russia anything they couldn't get militarily.

My point is that they will never honour their obligations - Article 5 or anything else. trump doesn't honour his own agreements (ask Canada re trade!). There are pretty much no circumstances under which US troops will fight for Europe under this administration.

If the US wants to sanction an EU Commissioner for work he did to restrict the spread of extremism in the EU then that is a decision that must have consequences, incl reciprocal denial of visas - not least for the leaders of tech companies who lobby the White House to undermine the EU / EU law
