And who are we keeping safe, Witt? The citizens you work for or ICE officers?

‘Sheriff Witt said, speaking publicly for the first time about the political dilemma she is experiencing. “But at least I could look at myself and say that I did what I thought was right to keep people safe.”’

With the #Yankees signing of Goldschmidt, I don’t understand how running virtually the same team back that’s now a year older (plus three pitchers coming off major injuries) is a path to success. I feel like overall the floor has been lowered and no ceiling elevated

I don’t consider myself a hater, but watching the Patriots lose badly has really brightened my outlook for this week!

I truly applaud #BadBunny. So many entertainers have enormous platforms and do nothing with it, except elevate their own bottom line (eg every cameo Super Bowl ad for nonsense products). He chose to make a huge visible stand for people who can’t do it themselves on the biggest stage possible. Wow!

So if the Bills made the Super Bowl, but had to punt every possession, would you take it?

Wife: The cat is really disturbing my sleep. He woke me at 7am cause he was hungry
Me: Really? That’s surprising cause he already got me up at 4:30am to be fed.
Needless to say, someone’s pleased with his early #caturday shenanigans

A cool biological anachronism that evolved to feed on megafauna, but as mastodons and giant sloths became extinct managed to eke out survival on beached whales and seals along the CA coast. Kinda like the pronghorn antelope, who evolved speed and eyesight to evade predators now extinct for 10K years
Not exaggerating when I say I tear up a little bit every time I'm reminded that we still have these magnificent birds. They were nearly extinct in my lifetime.
Egg-cellent news! The first California condor eggs of the season have been laid at our wildlife conservation center, and more could be on the way.

So if he takes it down, I’m assuming all will be then forgiven by the Republican establishment?

And the National media yet again gladly accepts the lies from this administration about toning things down. Glad for our local MN resources/papers who are keeping things honest
ICE is still doing checkpoints in Minneapolis like we are an occupied territory. Life remains really hard here thanks to Trump's thugs.

Am I the only one who initially read this as a reference to Scott Boras getting Skubal awarded record arbitration money?

And despite Republicans lies, there is no existing voter fraud. What’s ICE gonna do, threaten a bunch of US citizen registered voters standing in line? As Minnesota has shown, this stops no one and will only embolden people to get out and make their voice heard even more

The iconic, slush-filled tubes of orange juice concentrate, which have been around for 80 years, are being discontinued, the Coca-Cola Company says.
Minute Maid discontinues frozen juice concentrate after 80 years
The process to make juice concentrate was invented by the research team C.D. Atkins, Edwin Moore and Louis MacDowell in the 1940s.

The problem with this is that 99.99% of people don’t have a relationship with their local police chief and could not get this specialty treatment. Instead they’d be illegally detained at Whipple while friends/family are forced to figure stuff out. A nice story, but an anomaly

I'm at the Willard Hotel where I've been denied entry and kicked out of the Reclaiming Science event with NIH director Bhattacharya & other top agency leaders.

@jocelynkaiser.bsky.social and I registered for the event months ago yet were told capacity was full, even as they let in dozens of others.

For real die hards of McCarthy, they should have also listed Judge Holden

First day in the office with the broken elevators. I’m on the 12th floor and walked up a total of 22 flights. I’m keeping track on my whiteboard of total flights walked during this outage. My guess will be a lot.

Even in MN, you still have to live your life (especially w/kids), so spending some time on the real ice enjoying our mild afternoon of 2 degrees. Note the deep contraction cracks in the ice literally splitting apart from the cold temps

imgaine getting sent packing with your ass in your own two hands by some of the nicest people in the world and then showing up in a city that is famous for booing santa claus

100% correct with his whole interview. People need to realize this is well beyond an immigration issue. It is about a government trying to punish Americans that disagree with them and see how much they can get away with. And Minnesotans are not giving up this fight.
The whole interview is worth it

Sadly I pinned this two days ago and had no idea how much worse the headlines would get. Stay strong Twin Cities! You’re doing right
