If you knew from the beginning and agreed to it, she wasn't cheating. You were briefly in a poly relationship, which has now ended - for ALL THREE of you.

You don't have to console her. You also don't have to stay married to her. But if you *want* to stay together, choose wisely on decision #1.

Learning this lesson will make you a better cook than almost any other single lesson.

It will also make you despise almost everyone who writes recipe blogs.
The lesson that I learned about recipes while working as a line cook and later while helping to record our recipes for the restaurant cookbook is that the trick to good cooking is ignoring the timing and using your eyes, ears, nose, tongue, and fingers to tell when to move to the next step.

I'd invite him to come over for a look at my electric bill, my gas tank, or my fridge and check his numbers against mine ... but then I'd have to share a space with him.
Trump: "We have the groceries going down. We have the energy going down. We have gasoline going down at a record clip. That's what I want to do. We're doing well."

Would also be great to see news outlets covering what Bovino’s demotion means *for the communities CPB continues to target & the ppl harmed during Bovino’s command* & less “what does this mean for Trump’s poll numbers” like it’s a fucking ping pong match & not actual lives on the line.

If only they had body cams and a piece of paper that says they have to be nice to local LEOs
I've been sent video from the end of the ICE raid at the Zipps on 32nd and Shea.

It shows protesters -- on the sidewalk, impeding no one -- getting drive-by maced by an ICE agent from a truck as it rolls away down the road.

Hard to see how such tactics are justifiable.

So keep pushing. Anything short of ICE’s abolition isn’t nearly enough.

And I’d say that even ICE’s abolition should only be the start of ending the violence that came to feel “normal” under Trump.

Liam himself is five goddamned years old and should be at home with an adult he trusts right now no matter who his parents are. It would not matter if they were literal criminal masterminds, Liam Ramos is a baby and babies do not belong in prison.
Reminder that, as of the latest reports, Liam Ramos is still in prison in Texas - now for 5 days.

His parents are legal asylum seekers with no criminal record.

I think @sarahjeong.bsky.social said it's because they devalue women's labor and a LOT of this Scary Logistics stuff comes from people who don't understand that basically all of the civic life they enjoy is created with the help of free labor, largely by women.
Tho I will say, in his defense, he's not the first person to be confused by how quickly the romance authors & readers can whip up finely tuned logistics out of nothing. 😂
I mostly just stay off Twitter altogether but after double checking that the Walter Hudson post was still up I ran across this and just had to share so the Romancelandians who bought hand warmers could hear about the PROFESSIONAL GRADE LOGISTICS.

We should not fund DHS without serious reform. We could return CBP to border. We could require warrants for immigration arrests. We could beef up training and require identification.

The list of possible reforms is long. What's unacceptable is the current lawless status quo.

We studied Gandhi's movement during the Indian history quarter back in high school, and it's been a bit since I graduated, but I do feel like this was discussed as having been very explicitly part of his message.
the thing about satyagraha is that Gandhi being murdered himself doesn't constitute failure--the point of nonviolent resistance isn't that it's more safe, it's that it dramatizes the violence of the state and highlights its illegitimacy via contrast, and it mobilizes public outrage against injustice

Honestly, if all my data is going to get harvested by a givenment database for undisclosed purposes, I'd rather it have been a government that CAN'T suddenly show up at my door with a pocketful of zipties and fake warrants.
TikTok is now under US ownership and their new ToS reads like a guide to giving fascists everything they need to put you on a list.

They’re collecting information about immigration status, citizenship, sexual orientation, whether you’re trans or non binary and physical or mental disabilities.

But how many chances do you get..... so out we went to "see what it's like".

We didn't make it to the end of the driveway.
