This is not the only track in the Shaft score that sounds like Animal Crossing music, it might not even be the one that sounds THE MOST like Animal Crossing music, but I do now believe that the Animal Crossing composers listened to Isaac Hayes' score for Shaft and said "this is the vibe."

I think I laugh-screamed and applauded in a near empty Manhattan theater it was one of the greatest theater experiences ever because it was the same one where a guy in the back GUFFAWED at the idea that Justin Long could be a professor.
