I hate the new trend to send emails because you were on someone's website.

If I wanted to be perceived I would shop in person.

I’m fine with discussions about how to be less judgmental, but not from people who think that means trans people don’t get rights.

We’re not the judgmental ones in this whole thing.
California Governor Gavin Newsom said on Thursday that the Democratic Party needed to be “more culturally normal” and “less judgmental.”

A Palantir billionaire just called for public hangings.

“It's time to bring back masculine leadership to protect our most vulnerable,” writes Joe Lonsdale.

This is where Silicon Valley authoritarianism is heading:

I think all of the following things:

1) that some degree of violent conflict is inevitable because thousands of ICE combatants will not peacefully submit to judgment for their crimes;

2) that we should try to minimize violence as much as possible, because it will be horrible; and
that's cool, man, but have you tried the taste of a refreshing matcha latte

We will not stop until they stop. 💕
We’ve reached the point in this crisis where comrades from out of state are shipping us packages of thousands of whistles to distribute.

Know that when we win here- we’ll return that favor for the next city. Just as Chicago has taught us.

We are all in this together.

Feels annoying that I have to specify that from here on out, politicians need to have adult-level emotional regulation.

Short thread. I love this.
Someone over on YT asked why I didn't 3D print the sword (a valid question from a regular over there)

I use my 3D printer exclusively for head sculpts. But for bits like this, ALL of the dopamine is in solving the problem of "how do I make this with items that aren't supposed to be a mini sword?"
Here’s a closer look at the miniature sword that I scratch-built for this custom Zorro figure.

There’s an overview of the process/supplies in the YouTube video linked below!

holy shit, an accurate legal critique of LLMs. LLMs don't reason because they're just stitching together plausible-looking sentences indifferent to the content

BREAKING: The Supreme Court agrees to take up a challenge to President Trump's January 20 birthright citizenship executive order.

The court will hear DOJ's appeal of a loss below in a class-action challenge brought in the wake of June's decision limiting universal injunctions.

Hey I heard it's irrelevant and undeserved prize day!

I just won the Zoo of Mesopotamian Mesomorph Prize for Absolutely Not Procrastinating, Ever.

What did you win?

We all know this is a lie, but can we stop valorizing this shit?

Sleeping this little actually really fucks you up and you make bad decisions. It makes you irritable. It fucks up your memory. It reduces your ability to react calmly and rationally.
VARNEY: Do you work 18 hours a day?

MIKE JOHNSON: More. More. And I have to, because President Trump works 21 hours a day.

The fact that a second strike like that in an armed conflict is definitely a war crime should not completely negate the fact that *there is no war* and ALL the strikes are cold-blooded murder. The whole chain of command are murderers.

Everytime folks act shocked about the depth of Tom Cotton’s lack of humanity I will remind them he said that BLM protesters should be bombed and the troops sent in.

It was “retracted” but is still up and that’s the perfect metaphor for this moment

I realize everyone knows this, but you'll note that what he saw was two survivors trying to flip a boat over.

Which is a thing literally fucking anyone in a shipwreck would do.

The other stuff he said was fanfic he made up about them.
Q: What did you see in the second strike?

Cotton: "I saw two survivors trying to flip a boat -- loaded with drugs, bound for the United States -- back over, so they could stay in the fight."

I keep thinking about LSAC data saying students with accommodations get higher scores.

The most obvious possibility to me is not "some students unfairly get accommodations"; it is, "people with wealth are more likely to get accommodations."
