This year, our team in New Mexico handled 1,760 constituent cases, getting over $22 million back into the hands of our New Mexican neighbors and communities.

Glad funding from my Bipartisan Safer Communities Act will once again ensure students have the mental health support they need to thrive.

This funding should have never been taken away in the first place.

Happy Holidays, New Mexico!

No one believes this is about national security. This is Trump’s war on cheap, clean power. Electricity costs are going to soar and good union jobs will suffer.

Because it's clean and cheaper and faster to build!
Chart: Clean energy remains dominant in the US — despite Trump
Trump spent much of 2025 boosting fossil fuels and blocking renewables, but 92% of new power additions through November were solar, wind, or batteries.

Trump’s assault on clean energy sinks permitting reform. There is no path to a bill if this administration refuses to follow the law.

Trump will own higher electricity prices, aging infrastructure, & loss of U.S. competitiveness.

The Roadless Rule was established after extensive public input and community support. So why is the Trump Administration rushing to rescind it?

Eleven years ago, The Columbine-Hondo Wilderness Area was designated part of the National Wilderness Preservation System. It's one of New Mexico's most treasured places, and vital to our outdoor recreation economy. New Mexicans made sure it was protected for generations to come.

Sen. Heinrich: The Continental Divide Trail is part of the Triple Crown of Hiking and brings visitors from around the world to climb the spine of the North American continent. For many New Mexicans, it's their local trail where they walk their dog or spend time with their families.

Missing the deadline = breaking the law.
Deputy AG Blanche just said the Trump DOJ will miss the Epstein files deadline.

He says "several hundred thousand" docs will be released today, "and then over the next couple weeks, I expect several hundred thousand more."

All files are required by law to be released today.

Trump said he’d lower costs on Day One.

Instead, the average family has paid almost $1,200 more this year because of his tariffs.

It's hard to believe, but we're having the public lands sell-off fight all over again.

Glad we passed the defense authorization bill. It supports service members, invests in NM’s military installations, strengthens national labs and environmental clean-up. It also includes my bills to reimburse military families for medical travel and honor Trinity downwinders.

Very proud to have delivered the funding for @nmdoj.bsky.social to purchase these NIBIN machines, which will allow law enforcement to solve crimes and make our communities safer.

New video from longtime park leaders outlines the crisis facing NPS: a 24% staffing loss in 10 months. It’s simple: we’re calling for reversing this and sustained congressional support. Our parks and those who steward them require it. Now.

If you want to know why your health care premiums are going through the roof, look at Republicans in Congress.
December 11, 2025 at 8:15 PM
People should be able to afford their health care. It's that simple.

We just voted on extending the tax credits that would prevent premiums from skyrocketing for over 20 million Americans who rely on the ACA.

Every Democrat voted for it. Republicans blocked it.

Turns out the Grinch didn’t need to steal Christmas…Trump’s affordability crisis handled it for him.

I’m grateful to the Presbyterian Church and the New Mexico Land Conservancy for their work to preserve this iconic New Mexico landscape. I suspect Georgia O’Keeffe is smiling down on these efforts.

Rest assured folks...when this President is relegated to the dustbin of history, MLK Day and Juneteenth will not only have free National Park admission, but will once again occupy places of pride in our nation's history.
