Yesterday, 50,000 Minnesotans peacefully protested to stop the terror being inflicted on our community. Today, ICE shot and likely killed another constitutional observer on the street. I can’t say this clearly enough: Congress has to stop this. The government is killing us. Congress has to act.

Good to see approval so high but also I want to say for the hundredth time that what gets covered in the media as "protests" in the Twin Cities is very often "people going about their day and then running to help when they see federal agents trying to kidnap their neighbors"

Another thing you should know about the Twin Cities, if you're not here, is that while the mayor and governor tell us to stay calm on TV, our council members and other local electeds are on the street patrolling and protecting neighbors, doing mutual aid, and otherwise serving the community.

I’ve started using the term “ethnic cleansing campaign” to describe the ICE occupation here in Minnesota. This is deliberate because the reality on the ground is that, at a given moment, any non-white person can be kidnapped by masked federal paramilitaries regardless of their constitutional rights.

No one has ever gotten into transgender health care for money. Doctors go into gender-affirming care because every day they save lives with simple, safe care. Every rally I went to I heard from medical providers who said there was nowhere else in medicine they could transform lives in this way.
