Really funny how the so-called “manly” jobs that Trump wants to see return like manufacturing and oil production and are not doing that well. The only one that really is succeeding is construction.
Most of the job gains for January were in education/healthcare -- but especially healthcare (+82k)

This is very much the case. The spending of the wealthy is really the only thing propping up the economy at this point.
This morning on @cnbc.com, B of A said the “K-shaped” economy is increasingly about not just the split between high and low-income — but high and MIDDLE-income consumers.

Democrats have mostly focused on immigration through a civil rights lens in the past 20 years or so while Republicans have made it a public safety issue. But few Democrats have made an economic case for it. Hell, even Bernie isn’t that much of a fan of H-1B visas.
MAGA dimwit Peter Navarro accidentally admitted Trump-MAGA's claim about immigrants taking jobs is a scam. And as @pkrugman.bsky.social notes, not only is job growth down; *manufacturing* jobs are also down. The whole MAGA story is in collapse.
