it's weird that the government requires gender identification on passports at all, and wilder for them to claim to know what it should be better than the passport-holder! this is so purely punitive
1. The Supreme Court just let Trump’s order banning trans people from updating the sex marker on their passports go into effect. If you were planning to change yours, that window is likely closed until at least 2029.
