The last sentence is an interesting moment in the English language. Of course it's true that these articles hinder the removal of asylum seekers, much like making murder illegal hinders people who want to kill people.
There is no difference in practice between removing rights of individuals and leaving the ECHR. The end outcome is still the same, people lose rights. If human rights are an obstacle to your policy it is not the rights which are the issue, it is your policy. Labour going full Reform at this stage.

Labour are now the "darker forces" Mahmood is scaremongering about. Depriving people who have fled unimaginable horror the ability to rebuild their lives in safety and security, which this does, is sickening. Labour is sickening.

Rockstar is totally not union busting, totally. They just happened to fire 30+ people organizing together. What a coincidence, who could have known!

Oh wait, that's the definition of union busting? Well, they couldn't have possibly known that either, right?
Rockstar claims dismissals were due to information leaks, not union busting

UPDATE: Developer says it "took action against a small number of individuals" for "distributing and discussing confidential information"

Seriously how hard is it to say “This is an outrageous attack on our friends and neighbours who are in this country legally and have followed all the rules to get settled status, who are valued members of our communities, get to fuck frog-face”?
Keir Starmer’s spokesperson asked for the PM's response to Nigel Farage’s plan to deport hundreds of thousands of people living and working completely legally in the UK, replies that he thinks it is “unworkable” and “unfunded”.

So his objection is that they’ve got their sums wrong

The speed with which Labour came to the, at least implied, defence of Linehan, despite a track record of abuse and threats from him, exemplifies just how embedded the dehumanisation of trans and non-binary individuals has become as government policy. They really don't care who gets hurt.

Article 8 covers things like preventing the government from controlling who you can have sex with, and what hobbies you have; from spying on your mail and phone conversations; and so on. The UK government wants rid of it. They will claim it is necessary to “protect women” from the likes of me.

Racist, transphobic, anti-migrant, anti-worker and opposed to human rights.

This is ridiculous advice. How could I confront a shoplifter if I didn't see them? Which I definitely did not.
Hugely irresponsible

1) For your own safety, as someone who's worked in retail, do not confront shoplifters. Ever.

2) Perhaps instead of an alleged "shoplifting epidemic", maybe address the fact that 1/4 of the UK population are living in poverty? Seems related!

the interesting thing about the reform stuff is that it's completely out of date but it doesn't even need to be in any way reflective of reality, because it tells stories that 30 years of media brainwashing has already convinced Gen X and above is real, like "central london is unsafe"
