Incredible. Up the workers!
🇬🇧📢 At least 1200 workers from Ubisoft were on strike today !
Workers are rejecting the Guillemot dynasty's loser strategy and demanding the freedom to make good games in good working conditions. The strike will continue tomorrow and the day after ✊
🇬🇧✊🌀 Ubisoft: unions called for a strike on February 10th, 11th and 12th. Here is the list of all the pickets around France ⤵️

🇬🇧✊🌀 Ubisoft : enough is enough! Faced with the arbitrary decision of the CEO who doesn’t even dare talking to employees anymore, unions are calling for a strike on February 10th, 11th and 12th.

This was such a lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon and celebrate a wonderful human being! 🙌
We had such a good time on the Radical Glasgow Tour with @kamack.bsky.social as our tour guide. We learned so much!

At the end, I surprised everyone with coupons for a free book at my favorite bookshop in Glasgow, @calton-books.bsky.social, which was a lot of fun.

Would do again. Maybe next year.

This was a god damn lie.
I wrote half of an essay and it's 1000 words and now I'm too tired to finish it, which means I've set myself up to write another 1000 words in the coming days.

I just know that future Austin is going to thank past Austin for that feeling of needing to complete it.

Can't say it enough, if you are going to build ANYTHING, you are going to be criticized much more than you will be praised. Do not be deterred. Build what you want to exist. Find your people and seek their counsel. Keep it moving.

I'm celebrating my birthday this week by going on a radical walking tour of Glasgow with friends today in five degree weather.

We're learning about the Red Clydeside and I'm incredibly excited about this, even with the freezing cold.

ok ok it's not specifically about abolishing the police, but i'm currently reading I Am The Law by Michael Molcher and it is somehow a licensed comicbook tie-in and a readable and critical history of British policing
