Every masked ICE person five years ago screamed themselves raw about how they couldn't breathe in the masks to keep people safe. Masks to harm people, meanwhile, they can breathe through very well. Must be some kind of new invention, a hate fabric.
Literally, every member of ICE looks like they've been banned from at least one bar for being creepy.

Yeah. This.
seeking a partner by toning down your eccentricities to become more palatable is a coward's approach. you must make yourself worse & stranger to drive away the weak, the romantic version of bequeathing your haunted mansion to whoever dares spend a night within its walls.

The number of people in prison with ADHD, undiagnosed or otherwise, has made me in somewhat dark humour refer to myself as a "free range chaos goblin".
I'm obliged for the nod.

The "Penrose Effect" seems to be a real thing - hypothesised in the 1930s and re-tested in the last decade or so:

Where you reduce your inpatient psychiatric provision, you'll see a correlated rise within 10yrs in prisons of seriously mentally ill prisoners.

In this piece, admitting the BBC has broken its impartiality rules re. trans people, the BBC further breaks its impartiality rules by changing a quote saying "trans identity" to "trans ideology".
Martine Croxall broke rules over 'pregnant people' facial expression, BBC says
The BBC newsreader was reading out a news bulletin about research on groups most at risk in UK heatwaves.

“In New York City, mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani’s campaign was among the most openly pro-trans in history. He regularly name-checked the trans community in speeches and hired trans people to help right his trans rights platform.” This is a great piece and is well worth your time.
For @msnbc.com I wrote about how Tuesday's election gives Democrats the blueprint for overcoming Republican anti-trans attacks and how thus should settle all the talk about throwing trans people under the bus.

Opinion | Democrats’ election wins showed they don't need to hide their support for trans rights
Republicans repeated Trump's anti-trans strategy from 2024 and lost big. This should be instructive for Democrats.

HRT is available over the counter in Portugal.

Ryanair have flights for 15 quid this time of year.

You’re welcome.
the minutes of the October meeting between WellBN and SussexICB are chilling. Andrew Dodson from the Sussex side just openly saying patients will be “deprescribed,” that they’ll have no choice and won’t be allowed to talk to the team taking their healthcare away

Until 2008 it was the official position of doctors everywhere that pubic hair cured ADHD, a lifelong neurological disorder.
People think that institutions & professionals are sensible and rational. But Ignaz Semmelweis tried to educate doctors about hand washing and they ignored him. He wound up beaten to death in an institution en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ignaz_S...

Anyway we're seeing THE SAME THING with this nonsense

I talk to the press professionally, I'm really, really, really good at it.

So please, please believe me when say you cannot turn this interview request into anything good, it will do only harm. Harm to you, harm to your child, harm to other children.
heads up to anyone who holds trans kids near: amy harmon from the nyt is searching for and having a hard time finding people to interview to find out exactly what trans kids are doing when their care is limited or cut off, and for purposes of community safety, please shut the fuck up around her.

Ah, I see it’s War Christmas in Normal Island, where I am sadly travelling to right now, again.

That place is so fucked. Took leaving to realise how utterly batshit insane the society of my birth is.

70 million people and most of them just utterly weird.

And not “fun weird”.

The cruelest thing about how ADHD, the neurological disability with the stupid name, is treated by doctors is that they know how to stop our brains being in a state of civil war, and the best ones ration relief to as much as 12 hours a day before dropping us back in the shit.
November 4, 2025 at 1:07 AM
Yup. "So you have a mental disability but have you like, tried not being like that?"

Yes, Karen. I have. Turns out the bit of my brain that Knows and Understands Things is not on speaking terms with the part that Feels and Does things and also fuck you.
