I know the hypocrisy is the point or whatever but if the larger justification for deposing Maduro and blowing up fishing boats is preventing drug overdoses in the US then why is this kind of thing totally acceptable?
“ChatGPT started coaching Sam on how to take drugs, recover from them and plan further binges. It gave him specific doses of illegal substances, and in one chat, it wrote, ‘Hell yes—let’s go full trippy mode’”

A Calif. teen trusted ChatGPT for drug advice. He died from an overdose.
"Who on earth gives that advice?"

ok so we just killed 80+ people in air-strikes and kidnapped the president for…non-war reasons?
US to the UN: There is no war in Venezuela. We are not occupying the country.

you don’t gotta hand it to em or anything but at least the Bush admin actually tried to court public favor on something like this; they even made props!!

Elon Musk is the only immigrant who has ever sucked at running a diner www.autoblog.com/news/teslas-...
Tesla’s Diner Went From Viral Sensation to Empty Pit Stop in Six Months
From almost 1,000 burgers a day to a ghost town within six months, Tesla’s LA diner mirrors the brand's broader struggle to keep its momentum.

It rules so hard that this interview got big enough for the NYT to try to do firefighting and that Trans News Network said fuck off we don't owe you column space.
We have published the following update to our article following an email response from the New York Times.

Trans News Network has a policy against platforming bigotry. As such, we have declined to publish the Times' statement which included blatant transphobia.

with the caveat that I am a Bills fan and go Bills, my Super Bowl prediction is a rematch of that awful 2014 one where the Seahawks blew out the Broncos, and more or less the same thing happening, with Sam Darnold earning MVP honors, thus adding a final embarrassment to the abysmal New York Jets

this fell out of the news very quickly and perhaps it shouldn’t have
Jeffrey Epstein appeared to text with Del. Stacey Plaskett (D-Virgin Islands) during Michael Cohen's 2019 congressional hearing and may have influenced her questions.

I hate to admit it but spray-painting a soccer ball gold and presenting it to Donald Trump as the 1st annual ‘FIFA Peace Prize’ was perhaps the smartest diplomatic maneuver of its day
WH sources say Venezuela's opposition leader committed the "ultimate sin": She accepted the Nobel Peace prize.

“If she had turned it down and said, ‘I can’t accept it because it’s Donald Trump’s,’ she’d be the president of Venezuela today,” one said.

sorry for having consistent values around things like, i dunno, not liking violence and aggression, respecting order and the rule of law, not being racist, etc
Some Democrats hate that their party is largely positioning itself in opposition to the operation that resulted in Maduro's capture.

"Everything Trump touches must be bad according to the base," one House Dem told @axios.com

Said another: "It looks weak." www.axios.com/2026/01/04/m...
