Ok but what actions have you taken to protect the trans community, as an MP for the current government. Views are cheap, actions are expensive.
There's a lot of things I've never mentioned on Bluesky because I'm not that active on this platform. You could literally Google my name and the word trans, however, and you'd see that's not a fair characterisation of my views at all.

Pro tip: if you’re a government and you want to remove people’s rights, don’t attack, say, their freedom to criticise the government or their freedom to be lgbt and not be persecuted. Instead attack something that they can shame you for defending.
The British government admits it is now monitoring VPNs use by UK residents. Regulator Ofcom has contracted with an AI-powered surveillance service to detect the number of citizens using VPNs to evade the Online Safety Act.

The UK tech minister has said a VPN ban is on the table.

Ignoring VPNs risks creating ineffective laws, but tracking them threatens people's privacy

Phew, now no one else will die for unspecified reasons because of a phone 🙏
On Brianna's 19th birthday, this morning I joined @cheshirepcc.bsky.social and the Brianna Ghey Legacy Project Phone Free Education campaign at the launch at Jodrell Bank of a new £150k initiative to make Cheshire the first county in the UK where ALL state high schools have lockable phone pouches.

Can’t wait for the government to privatise the BBC and sell it for cheap to fkn Netflix or Amazon so we get adverts and still need to pay the TV Licence because ✨reasons✨.

100% any deal to privatise the BBC has the provision to keep the licence fee. Ain’t no way that’s going.
November 11, 2025 at 11:15 AM
People are very squeamish when it comes to criticising the BBC, because it’s been very successful in presenting itself as this rock in a storm, bastion of integrity and non bias. But it’s all marketing.

“What replaces the bbc could be worse” but what replaces it will be the same.
November 11, 2025 at 11:01 AM
But have you considered the BBC sometimes produces somewhat popular light entertainment shows?
Weird thing to claim in a week where a uniquely British flavoured nation-uniting parlour game, featuring highly localised national treasures, published viewing figures of just shy of 15m.

At this point, I can only conclude that Your Party is some sort of op to provide insufferable libs with endless “people’s front of judea 🤣🤣🤣” memes

If ever you were in any doubt about how white and vaguely middle class I sound, I have twice gotten into arguments with airport security whilst they were examining my bag. One time it was if hair gel is a liquid and the other was why I had 100 razor blades. Both times I was allowed on the flight.

“You don’t hate Mondays, you hate your job” my friend, I like my job, but you know what I like more than doing my job? Not doing my job. Sure I find my job interesting, but you know what’s more interesting? Playing Helldivers 2.

The thing about libs is, be they the UK Labour Party or the American Dems, they don’t actually want to beat the conservatives, because they mostly agree with them, they want to be the #Resistance and shake their heads and look sad whilst the government enacts policies they fundamentally agree with.
November 10, 2025 at 8:13 AM
Chuck fought long and hard to ensure that the Dems get all of the blame with none of the concessions. Truly a tactical genius.
Democrats have been fighting for months to address America's healthcare crisis

For the millions who will lose coverage
For people with cancer who won't get the care they need
For working families who can't afford to pay $25K more a year for healthcare

We will keep fighting

Terminal Labour brain: they HAVE to vote for us, WHO ELSE are they going to vote for? It’s FINE to call them fleas and cockroaches and say they’re not welcome in the party, they’ll still vote for us when it comes down to it!
Alas, my dear summer child, we have a FPTP electoral system. It is designed to force voters to vote against the party they hate/fear, rather than for the party they support. Majority of voters will vote for the party in their constituency most likely to beat the party they fear.
