I just got a memory of a whole bottle of poppers leaking on my leg and me having to wash a chemical burn and poppers out of my jeans sat trouserless on the DBA sink.

Solid New Year's Eve honestly I cannot lie.

Such a beautiful night with such a beautiful man who has made 2025 for me. I cannot wait to spend 2026 with him doing antics and gambits and shite 🥰

My new year's resolution is to try and be more active and to see more of the people I care about!

I've been so busy in 2025 (with all great things) and am ending the year in so much of a better place I can't articulate, but because of that I've neglected friendships and exercise

Excellent point in great thread. Just as an illustrative example, in the Budget, Rachel Reeves hiked taxes on essentially all post-2012 graduates and announced her intent to hike taxes on everyone who saves a decent amount into their pension. These groups are both core Labour voters!
And the reasons for that are not hard to find - Starmer’s unpopularity among left-liberals is the logical, arguably even intended consequence of 18 months of comms and policy which alienates and angers left-liberals while winning over no one on right. This is the cake his team have baked themselves.

I dug behind the industry paywall to find out, what *are* the geniusly clever things that AI can predict will increase NHS A&E pressures?

You’ll never guess

- Flu
- Winter
- Icy weather
- Friday nights
- Christmas
- New Years Eve

Jeez, Dom’s old mates at Faculty AI (o yes) really saw Wes coming

If I'm going to do anything after I've had one too many beers it is argue with Israelis and Germans on instagram.

Fucking hell.

Sometimes you go to post something and you realise living in a suburb and having a few beers has twisted your brain.

Why am I this annoyed about green bins. I'm not really. Get fucked does it matter.

I love that me and my boyfriend give each other kebab reviews. It Very quickly allows us to narrow down the best in the city and I think it's peak gay efficiency

When I saw an article about Chappel Roan controversy I thought "oh she criticised the french nazi"

But no, she praised the french nazi and claimed her as inspiration.

We don't do death of the artist with fascists.

Antisemitism against left wing Jews is so normalised, meanwhile left wing Jews get accused of being "traitors" for not supporting a foreign government.

It's like an inversion of the Dual Loyalty Antisemitism.
No idea who Laurent Brindeau is, but isn’t this caricature of @zackpolanski.bsky.social in today’s @dailymailpolitics.bsky.social ragingly antisemitic?

The difference between a libertarian and a liberal.

John Stuart mill’s The Harm principle needs to be urgently understood in 2026
When they talk about freedom, they have always been specifically talking about their own freedom and that of people like them, and not everyone’s liberty. Their freedom is entirely compatible with you being clubbed in the teeth by a policeman in space marine armour, and at some points depends on it.
