My latest substack is on my recent realisation that even though I've never been married, I might actually be divorced:

Am I Divorced?
I'm not actually divorced though. But maybe I am?

Bus stops in capitalism
I live in LA so I see so much dumb shit that looks expensive but cannot possibly lead to more customers buying the final product.

How exactly is this gonna get more people to see the new Spongebob in a way a trailer or billboard can't?

And how much does setting this shit up around the city COST?

Not rigged, but I think they definitely try to get enough rounds for Netflix to have a marketable product streaming the fight, and bith fighters understand that. If Joshua knocked him out round 1 you'd have a lot of disappointed punters.

Andrew Tate is legitimately awful at boxing and he got beat up by some model or whatever which is incredibly embarrassing. Jake Paul however lasted 6 rounds with one of the best boxers of the last 15 years so will 100% take it as a moral victory. Haters can’t have it all I’m afraid
Andrew Tate and Jake Paul losing the same weekend. Sad.

Finally wrote for Vice again after all these years. And it’s of course about the 30th anniversary of Heat, one of the greatest films of all time:

Michael Mann's heist classic is 30 years old this week—and for three decades, it's been a siren song to a certain type of man.

the problem for transphobes is that at this point nearly everyone has met or at least interacted with a trans person and figured out that they're just people trying to live their lives. this is why they want to ban trans people from existing in public at all costs
11% of Britons say they feel 'very negatively' about trans people which just highlights how much this is a top-down hate project with around 95% of the media hating trans people and a high percentage of MPs.
Hello. I’m a “same-sex attracted person” (loathe that description of my sexuality) & I support Trans rights, like the majority of female “same sex attracted people”.

Impossible to state how much I hate these awful people. The transphobe lobby is honestly the most malignant & disgusting force in this country slowly destroying everything it touches. As transphobia links up with racism & other bigotries it's like some awful illness slowly poisoning the nation
