Decided to 'have a go' of my niece's split scooter. Stood on it for approx one nanosecond before it flew out from under my feet, leaving me horizontal in the air at about waist height. Hung there in a physics-defying manner a la Wile E Coyote before landing on my back. Some cold drinks involved.

The thing that’s so dumb about this is that there’s nothing legitimate about the strategic importance of Greenland that the US doesn’t get through existing alliances. Denmark isn’t impeding US strategic interests. It’s about them wanting to increase US land area by 20%.

I suppose the problem is that banning X, even for publishing CSAM, would instantly be denounced as being anti-free speech. Not just by elements of the Right here, but also Musk and the US government in general.

The thing I don't get is that the politics of banning X or Grok should be quite favourable. If there is one thing lots of the public really hate, it is noncery, so saying "we are banning the Nonce Porn machine" and then attacking e.g. Farage as pro-nonce when he criticises it should land quite well.
Just saw this in LinkedIn for anyone interested in looking into Grok's production of CSAM and non-consensual sexualised imagery.

It is not this government's job to criticise the CSAM robot. This government is of the opinion that the CSAM robot will hopefully stop making CSAM and if it does not then hopefully it still might, anyway.

Good grief. In the free version of MS Planner you can sort your grid by various column values. For reasons best known to Microsoft, this feature is NOT available IN THE PREMIUM VERSION YOU GIVE THEM MONEY TO USE.

FFS. I understand that diplomacy is delicate & we are in a weak position against a country governed by a fucking random number generator but surely we can say, "Invading a fellow member of NATO is bad, actually"? Is Labour worried about taking a different position than Farage?
