If being a lifelong racist and a convicted sex pest doesn’t disqualify him for people, why would any of these? Trump’s core voter is happy to have him enable the worst parts of their belief systems.
I mean I find it difficult to wrap my head around “aw he probably doesn’t really mean that stuff” as a reason to vote for someone. So much so that I don’t really believe that people think that - I think they like that stuff, agree with that stuff, and just don’t have the cobbles to say so.
