I’m still cruising through FF7, got the Tiny Bronco and headed to Wutai.
I’m glad I’m replaying it before Rebirth, I didn’t remember many details, or the order of events. I’d completely forgotten Barret’s backstory! And boy, Cid is a dick. Fuck that guy. I wonder how he’ll be portrayed in Rebirth?

I started a FF7 playthrough last night and tore through Midgar and then some. With some speed-up mods it’s a delightfully breezy experience. I wonder if my goal of beating it in three days is too ambitious? 🤔

Man… I’m all ready to start FF7 Rebirth but I’ve just read many people recommend playing through OG again before it.
I’ve only played the original through Midgard recently and haven’t played the full game in almost two decades.
Should I burn through it with cheats on before starting Rebirth?

1. How the hell do both he and Cloud have the Buster Sword?
2. How is Cloud on the same path if Zack survived in this timeline?

I just assume anyone hyping AI or claiming it will be a harbinger of doom is either ignorant or full of shit.
I’ve tried using Gen-AI for images, text, or code and every time my initial “holy shit this is kind of amazing,” was quickly followed by frustration and an awareness of clear limitations.
