I’m curious why Nintendo allows AI slop like this and even gives it a prominent spot on e-shop listings. The barrier to publish on Nintendo should be higher, this crap only damages their reputation.
Real game developers must be livid that this shit is promoted above any actual games they worked on.

Having grown up playing the SNES port of Mortal Kombat 1, MK Legacy Kollection allows me to better appreciate Arcade MK 1. It’s not nearly as clunky and drab as the SNES port—qualities that colored my overall opinion of MK 1… Of course having the home ports playable only emphasizes that point.

Almost all my Japanese PS1 games were purchased in Japan, by me, most for just a few dollars! I don’t have a Japanese/modded PS1 but that’s fine, I enjoy collecting them. It’s an affordable way to own otherwise pricey games plus I like having the original untranslated versions of favorite titles.

Nintendo DS emulation is so good on mobile. I really ought to take more advantage of it, considering my phone is always with me.

I effectively built a “Steam Machine” last year. It runs Win11 (for now) because I didn’t think Linux would fully utilize Nvidia hw (3080Ti + Ryzen7 5700X3D) but boots into Steam Big Picture mode.
With exclusive titles becoming rare, I can’t imagine buying a future (traditional) gaming console.

I saw some kind of wild cat cross the road near my house this morning. I’m guessing it was a Bobcat, but it was possibly a smaller cougar? Both live around here and are pretty elusive. This is a snap from my dashcam with all of its Sasquatch-sighting image quality.

This is as far as I got hand-painting tonight. Exor will need time to dry between coats (the metallic paints are tricky!) before I do the details on it, but the rest of it is mostly finished besides some minor touch up.

I’m ecstatic with how the stone spray-paint turned out! I’m nervous about hand-painting it next, as I have far less experience with that than spray-painting. I just have to remind myself that this was intended to be a proof-of-concept despite how well it’s turning out. 👀

I think it’s a KV-2791R. I found this photo of one online. This would make a great NES set, but it’s probably just not as versatile of a set as I prefer. I do hope it finds a good home!
