The emails that you’re seeing now are news in themselves, but that’s because of how they’re coming out—a congressional committee released them—& the context in which they’re being viewed. A guy emailing a reporter talking about old girlfriends or saying someone is “dirty” is not a whole news story.
I do feel kinda foolish about how upset I got after the shutdown ended. Still hate how it went, but it's the Republicans' fault it happened in the first place.
Oh, and now it turns out they're literally a pedo syndicate. So yeah, vote in the primaries and all, but the GOP must be destroyed.

This is a reasonable skeet. You can overreact, people do sometimes. The key is to recognize that you did and correct for it.
I don’t know at this point if there is enough evident to say “the New York Times, institutionally, was a co-conspirator with Epstein” but it’s basically beyond doubt at this point that at least one employee of the paper were co-conspirators and used their position at the paper to help affect that
Fall 2017: Then-NYT reporter literally warning Epstein that someone is "digging around again."

Imagine if Dems in the Senate hadn't caved. The House wouldn't be in session rn, the discharge petition wouldn't be signed, people wouldn't have SNAP, govt workers would be RIF'd & the GOP would have some decent talking points. But also online rage addicts would be happier! YMMV!

There were posters on here with huge audiences saying Grijalva would never be seated and you will never hear a word about this from them. They will move on to the next “we are doomed” subject of the day.
BREAKING: Rep. Adelita Grijalva signs the Epstein discharge petition, serving as the 218th vote to force the bill to the floor for a full vote of the House.

I guess we know why Trump, Bondi, Patel and Mike Johnson have been covering up the Epstein files. I’m sure there is a whole lot more and a whole lot worse.

I think some ppl on this site need to take a moment, step back, and say aloud to themselves "If Dems cared, theyve have made Republicans do something that was obviously in their best interest to do" and contemplate a bit based on that framing why that outcome didnt come to pass.

Trump to Pat McAfee: "I'm only joining you because I hear you say such nice things about me. When people say nice about me, I join. When they don't say nice about me, I take a pass."

I’m sure the tough guy free speech absolutists anti-snow flake fans, that love this show, will have strong words against this statement lol 😂

Anyway, every single person like “the fact that there were only 8 proves there were more, the fact that Schumer voted against it proves he supported it, the fact that 39 Dem senators are angry about it means they are lying to you” is trying to spread their fear & misery. You don’t have to let them.
Whether you think Democrats should have pushed the shutdown further or not, at this point you have control over whether *you* give up, and a lot of you have decided that yessir you absolutely will.

A bit of a contrarian view. Democrats likely won't pay a price for this in the midterms. The American memory is quite short on political machinations. But Republicans are about to learn a central tenet of American politics: You cannot give people a benefit and then take it away.

This is only a contrarian view on a website that has full on lost its mind.
