The concept of “lying under oath” is up for grabs right now. All the Trump SCOTUS judges did it about Roe. Kennedy did it to get his post. If one of these fuckers isn’t prosecuted it will be crystal clear that there are zero repercussions for doing so, and everyone will lie forever.

one of the things that’s harder to see while we are in it, but will jump off the page at future historians, is how deeply corrupt *the entire trump family* is, and how they abused and and manipulated every lever of the federal government they could grab to steal everything that isn’t nailed down

I knew there was a reason why Super Bowl LX reminded me of Super Bowl XXXI

(besides the whole "doomed by sacks and turnovers" thing)
I spent much of the season trying to find a historical comp for the 2025 Patriots. I ultimately landed on the 1996 team.

One of the main Republican talking points against the U.S. doing anything about climate change has been "well, China won't do anything, so why should we?"

...yet China is clearly doing something
NEW ANALYSIS: China's CO2 has now been 'flat or falling' for 21 months

* Down in 2025
* Still below Mar 2024
* Clean energy wave a key factor

If this is China's peak (TBC) it's the climate story of the century so far…
