The mystery roll of film I developed yesterday turned out to be from my 2017 trip to Rodney, Mississippi—a ghost town on the banks of the Mississippi River that almost became the state capital.

Just had an argument with someone who is disappointed that Kim Davis' attempt to overturn marriage equality failed because they wanted people like me to lose our marriages in order to galvanize "a more radical queer movement."
Oh, and because gay marriage is just "capitalist fascism," or something.

These threats are grim, disgusting and unacceptable.
They’re really common among anti-trans obsessives.
Which is why they were banned so often from social networks. It wasn’t censorship, it was standards.
Removing those rules has only emboldened hate:

Now maybe Kim Davis can spend her time on more important things, like figuring out who she'll marry next.
For the past week, my stomach dropped each time I saw a new story pop up with "Kim Davis," "Supreme Court," or "same-sex marriage."
I initially didn't think they would take the case... but as the decision got closer, my anxiety over it grew, too.
A sigh of relief. Temporary, but welcome.
