It tickled around the edge of my brain. I knew that people get into situations where a corporation can just say, "Well, we'll bankrupt you before you can prove that we're in the wrong."
A right to an attorney is irrelevant if you can't pay them.

People who constantly say stuff like "you can't let the perfect be the enemy of the good; you have to bite your tongue and support the lesser of two evils" about - say - elections in Western countries seldom seem to apply that logic to "Hamas Vs the IDF" where Hamas is unambiguously the lesser evil.
