Yes to pina coladas and getting caught in the rain, no to activity at midnight in the dunes on the Cape. She/her.

Rebellions are built on Ope
Lots of good signs here, but I have to confess my favorite is a rebel alliance where they replaced the red insignia with blue and the Minnesota loon.

They're trying to hammer down the most transparently decent and innocent people in the country in order to scare everyone into submission.

Don't let them.

Find your organizing homes wherever you are and find ways to push back.
Kill a mother in cold blood, kidnap the cutest little kid I have seen all week in a fucking pokemon hat, the cutest possible hat, then arrest a bunch of clergy members?! Of multiple kinds of faith practices? Do they have a comeuppance kink or something? like wtf do they think is going to happen??

I will give you a personalized romance recommendation if you purchase it TOMORROW from either Tropes & Trifles, a romance only bookstore in Minneapolis. (This is a brilliant idea I am copying from Maris Kreizman)

Was talking to a family member about this last night. Minnesota's upstanding is so effective in part because we started preparing *last spring*. Then an additional round of prep when we saw what was happening in Chicago. Wherever you are, start building now.
I cannot emphasize this enough. If you live in a city, ICE IS COMING TO YOU. Get to know your neighbors now. Start signal chats now. Figure out what you can do well and get to it. See what other cities have done and well and replicate it.
This is also where you have to get your seeds of community in the ground while the ground is soft. Don’t wait until the goons are at your neighborhood schools to figure out who’s going to walk your dog/mind your baby/get everybody fed.

They're singing "We get there together or never get there at all." So that's my crying moment for the day. My new favorite protest chant.
Happening now: From Target HQ in Minneapolis hundreds of clergy ask Target to be good neighbors and Support the 4th Ammemdment stop Cooperating with ICE!

Action by Interfaith Alliance 👏👏👏 #ICEOUTforGood #AbolishICE

We also made a Sinister Minnesotans hoodie and onesie.

All proceeds go to aid organizations in Minnesota refusing to back down from the ICE agents polluting their great state.

Fuck ICE, and thank you to @raygunsite.com and @wardsutton.bsky.social for the hustle.

There is no doubt that Minnesotans are helpers.

Make sure you’re protected when you give or set up donation campaigns 👇
In times of need, Minnesotans always step up to care for each other.

Today, I am issuing an alert to help stop bad actors from taking advantage of people’s generosity, and to help ensure those raising money understand their potential obligations under Minnesota law.

It's insane to have filing deadlines this early, but of course that's by design in many places that want to lock in predetermined outcomes
FWIW:

Golden is retiring.

The filing deadline has passed in NC; Davis is the only Dem running.

The filing deadline has passed in TX; Gonzalez & Cuellar both have primary opponents.

Gillen has several Dem opponents as well, as does Perez.

If you want to primary Suozzi, you still have until 3/30.
