I'm just really not a home run hitter. I like sports and some of the sports either love me ( #Yankees ) or really hate me ( #Bills ). I also like lots of other nerd stuff.

I've cooked ~14 cups of carrots into my well-loved carrot soup in ~18 hours & it's a dozen freezer portions for my household + 4 servings each for 5 more households.

I do this kind of cooking regularly to help feed folks, but I talk about it because it helps illustrate the potential impact.

While it's good to hear that rent collection is normal, as it means people aren't being kicked out hopefully, it is clearly because of everyone's donations. C'mon now.
Council Member Palmisano: "We've all been exploring how to best show up with what we can possibly afford with city dollars in this moment." But she's heard from landlord group that rent collections are tracking with normal right now.
