1. DHS surges 3,000 officers to Minneapolis without doing anywhere near enough prep first.
2. Hundreds of habeas cases overwhelm local courts.
3. Dozens of DOJ lawyers quit in disgust/anger.
4. The DOJ brings in JAGs to cover.
5. A JAG was just held in contempt and fined $500/day for ICE's failures.

the depraved 7 are:

Peggy Bennett (23a), Patricia Mueller (23b), Tom Dippel (41b), Marj Fogelman (21b), Jimmy Gordon (28a), Bryan Lawrence (27b), Drew Roach (58b)

TIL both reps from SD 23 (Freeborn, Mower, Steele, & Waseca) are co-chair & co-vice chair of the house ed policy committee. wtf???
Shameful.

Despite heartbreaking testimony from dozens of educators and students, a bill to restrict ICE access at MN schools failed on a tie vote in House committee. NONE of the seven Republican committee members voted in favor. #mnleg #edmnvotes #iceoutschools

BREAKING: The Department of Education has ended its directive that attempted to restrict diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in schools nationwide.

This is a victory for academic freedom and education equity.

How disappointing. Stop giving money to billboard companies and bring back Open Streets you ghouls.

NEW — An obscure Navy contractor program is making Trump’s plans to quickly build out and supply immigrant concentration camps around the country a reality.

Here I explain WEXMAC TITUS, an acronym you need to understand:
For ICE to build concentration camps quickly, they're leaning on this Dept. of War program
WEXMAC TITUS helps contractors bypass the traditionally lengthy government contract bidding process

i stand corrected, Scott is not on CBRC, he was one of the Frey team’s challengers to the Minneapolis DFL city conventions, which in all honesty, is worst, bc his challenge was about credentialing!

maybe he forgot bc he didn’t actually write the challenge he signed and submitted.
this is shit drives me 🤯🤯.

Scott Graham is on CBRC & SEC (along w/ Teresa Coryell House) & both sided w/ the Frey team’s smear campaign against the Minneapolis DFL, and at the root of their argument was CREDENTIALING.

so sick of these do-nothing pricks saying “rules for thee not for meee”.
Tonight, we had a meeting of the Central Committee for CD5. At the very beginning, before it was called to order, Scott Graham, the chair, made an comment about the processes for the meeting and I asked him what credentialing process he was using and he straight up admitted he doesn't have one.

Thread on DFL “leaders” choosing when the rules do and don’t apply yet again. It always seems that the rules apply when it benefits the older whiter folk and not the younger, newer, BIPOC/LGTBQ+ folk.
Tonight, we had a meeting of the Central Committee for CD5. At the very beginning, before it was called to order, Scott Graham, the chair, made an comment about the processes for the meeting and I asked him what credentialing process he was using and he straight up admitted he doesn't have one.

Council Member Pearll Warren speaking against a resolution calling for defunding immigration enforcement. Says it would leave us defenseless against immigrants from "the land of one-eyed people eaters, and they had three hairs on top of their head — if they're doing something crazy that's not okay."

it’s called being effective, actually listening to the ppl and not the donors and consultants.
A base that's long made pragmatic decisions appears increasingly attracted to charismatic outsiders who promise to break from the party’s failures of the last decade. They see their party’s leaders as feckless and inept.

It’s the Democratic Tea Party, with a twist. trib.al/uFPDuLM

Legal status doesn’t matter: if you exceed ICE’s melanin threshold, you get snatched. It is ethnic cleansing. There is no other word for it.

The news has shown you video of these often violent detentions. What you don’t see is what happens to these individuals after.

I’ve had a front row seat.

We continue to see no drawdown today with ICE activity in the Phillips neighborhood, Columbia Heights, and Shakopee.

Our pressure is working as the Senate bill to fund DHS did not pass last night. Keep up the pressure by reaching out to your federal representatives.

I'm trying to figure out how to post about something publicly that is an example of the behavior of centrists in the DFL without actually naming names and getting accused of "attacking" an individual on my substantial platform. So here is an attempt.
