My whole life, advocating war has been fed to me as “the adult position,” akin to drinking your coffee black or reading the business section of the newspaper. Let’s be very clear — war is the childish nonsense of impulsive destructive idiots playing baby-brained video games with real human lives.

this is your mission. our pedophile president needs you to jump out of a helicopter to kidnap a head of state and his wife so some oil ceos can make a lot of money. we’ll be watching from a resort in florida that still serves wedge salad and checking how many retweets we get. good luck soldier

Stopped by the Twin Cities Auto Show, which is early this year, and checked out the few EVs they had. It's remarkable how many of them have insufficient rear headroom for me. The new Chevy Bolt was surprisingly good, but the rear-view mirror and camera assembly hangs really low and blocks my view

When I see headlines like "US bombs Country" I think about how easily the headline could be "US feeds every human on the planet" or "US eradicates tuberculosis".

If we have the power to unilaterally do these destructive things that result in decades of suffering, we have the power to do good, too?

You should be embarrassed to be a member of congress and issuing anything other than impeachment resolutions. You're in the model UN. They should give you legos and a propeller hat

Marco Rubio is reportedly saying Maduro will stand trial in US courts.

Which means it’s now the US administration’s position that US courts can hold foreign presidents, but not the US president, accountable for crimes.

Ford dropping the F-150 Lightning is an odd bookend to them pushing adoption of the Tesla / NACS charging standard.

Also, I can't say how widespread the knowledge is, but prospective EV buyers waiting for the new NACS ports to become available have probably contributed to slower sales

The members who did the "don't follow illegal orders" video absolutely need to immediately do a "hey these were the illegal orders we were talking about and participating in them can expect to face consequences to the fullest extent of the law" video
Uniformed military are involved in this shambolic behavior and they all need to be held to account

A primary goal of the discussion now on dragging dem pols to do the right thing has to be on widespread accountability and where appropriate prosecutions of significant numbers of servicemembers
Inexcusable shit.

rubio pretty much believes in a reverse domino theory for latin america and since he is effectively running foreign policy in the region i would expect him to see cuba as his next target
And I don’t want to sound conspiratorial, but if they feel like they can do this in Venezuela without any serious consequences, they’re absolutely going to try it in Cuba too.

The US needs to start the year off right. Everybody who can needs to call for impeachment and removal right now.
And yet, impeachment, conviction and removal is where we MUST START.

There is NO DEFENSE for any lawmaker who hesitates to further impeachment articles NOW.
If the United States is responsible for the attacks on Venezuela, this is an unconstitutional cover-up of a secret war & of Trump mass murdering Venezuelans.

In that case, impeachment, conviction and removal is not enough. Trump and his enablers must be prosecuted & punished in a New York Nuremberg
