My hometown, whose factories (all closed) built the tools that built the nation. It was a city of immigrants Finns, Italians, Greeks and French Canadians.
This video shows a Fitchburg man appearing to suffer a seizure after ICE agents used an illegal carotid restraint on him. This happened with his daughter in the car and while Fitchburg police protected the agents. The man's wife was arrested. He's now suing.

I'll never understand why public radio has turned away from finely produced story packages from reporters in favor of host Q&A's, particularly when reporters are clearly reading scripted answers to anchor questions .

9 years ago this morning it was -17 at altitude. I can't believe I took a plane up in that weather, but I had to ferry it to its new owner in Grand Rapids.
