I’m deeply grateful to Governor Tim Walz for his integrity, his humility, and his unwavering commitment to Minnesota.

Minnesota has to come first - always.

Today, I’m proud of the work we’ve done to make Minnesota the best place to live and raise kids.

I’ve decided to step out of the race and let others worry about the election while I focus on the work.

Disgusted by him and everyone who keeps on looking the other way when he does things like this.

He has found a new, crazy irresponsible and dangerous low point.
Donald Trump is now reposting videos on Truth Social suggesting that Minnesota Governor Tim Walz had Melissa Hortman assassinated.

This is objectively evil, and calling it out should not be political.

The President is literally endorsing the crazy conspiracy reasoning of a multiple murderer. An assassin.
Is running Venezuela putting him over the edge?
Think of how Melissa’s and Mark’s family feel when they see this. But that’s the point, the President doesn’t care.

So like…now what? Is there a plan here exactly for what happens when you decapitate a government overnight?

Or is this just the “Jesus take the wheel” school of military planning?

I don't think most people is sufficiently appreciated that the consensus "racism is bad" took an extraordinary effort not only to kick off but to maintain. And we should all be extremely scared of this now, because if it happens this fast to any group, it could happen that fast to your group.
Here is the editor of Tablet agreeably reposting someone calling nonwhite NYC immigrants "worthless biotrash." It's astonishing how quickly this stuff has escaped containment

You don’t need to know a single fact about Somali Americans to know the campaign against them is morally hideous. Either you can recognize that these campaigns are wrong a priori, or you are in your heart a racist.
I was wondering why their is so much random racist discourse on Somalis on the TL rn but oh it’s election season for governor rn lol

I've been reflecting over the past few days on the value of Minnesota's robust and resilient local media.

When an agent provocateur came to town with the goal of inciting racial hatred, it was local media that acted as a fire hydrant, providing timely reporting that has helped douse the flames.

In 2025 I averaged over 10,000 steps per day in every month of the year, according to the step counter on my phone.

I've maintained a streak of doing this for 75 consecutive months (six and a quarter years).

I think the most effectively way to frame this issue is, "Don't you want choice in where you live and how you get around?" When framed this way, multimodal reforms transform from a burden (e.g. "we have to do this because of climate change/sprawl/costs/etc") into an amenity.
