I'm committed to partnering with advocates to create a responsible path forward for the industry federally, similar to what has been done here in MN, in order to support MN consumers, small businesses, and farmers.

The cutting-edge medical and public health research done in Minnesota has saved and improved countless lives. Minnesota is widely recognized as a national leader in conducting medical research, and that’s a tremendous point of pride for our state.

It's appalling that the defendant founded and used a nonprofit to serve his own personal interests, instead of the people of Minnesota.

My office launched this investigation and filed this lawsuit because I will not allow nonprofits to serve as a guise for nonprofit leaders to enrich themselves.

The Trump admin is trying to take food off the tables of hungry children and families across Minnesota, all to score cheap political points.

I will not allow that, which is why I’m asking the courts to block this blatantly illegal action from the Trump administration.

I’ve said it before and I’ll said it again: Gender-affirming care is healthcare, period. It is evidence-based, backed by the American Medical Association, and helps trans individuals live their lives with the dignity we all deserve. Gender-affirming care saves lives.

Once again, the Trump Administration is threatening to let the needy go hungry.

Donald Trump is doing whatever he can to keep vulnerable people hungry and scheming new ways to punish the states that want to keep them fed.

No one should be taken advantage of because they miss their family. But that’s what these defendants did.

I filed this lawsuit so no one else is harmed or defrauded into giving up their savings, because someone saw people’s love of their families as a way to scam hard-working Minnesotans.

I have strongly supported the CFPB, as both AG and a member of Congress and I don’t intend to stop. Attorneys general have broad powers in state and federal law to protect consumers, and I will use all the tools available to me to protect Minnesotans from financial harm.

The spread of Cryptocurrency ATMs has me extremely concerned. While these ATMs are not scams themselves, many scammers trick their targets into sending money via cryptocurrency ATM because those transactions are virtually impossible to trace.

If you own a Kia or Hyundai and have been struggling with auto thefts, help is finally on the way. Thanks to a settlement my office reached, you’ll be able to get a free hardware upgrade to prevent theft.

Here’s everything you need to know ↓↓↓

With our latest settlement, we are improving public safety by preventing crime before it happens. The upgrades Kia and Hyundai will be forced to make will prevent and deter countless auto thefts.

I will always do everything I can to protect the safety of Minnesotans.

I am committed to vigorously defending Minnesota’s medical providers who do incredible work to treat and care for all Minnesotans, including our trans neighbors. I have already taken the Trump Admin to court to stop them from scapegoating the trans community. I will not hesitate to do so again.

Today’s charges and guilty plea are an important step in combatting fraud and protecting our tax dollars. It boils my blood that fraudsters are taking advantage of that generosity, and my office and I will gladly partner with all those who are also committed to holding fraudsters accountable.

Donald Trump has once again shown his utter lack of decency and humanity by brazenly lying about Minnesota's Somali community tonight.
December 18, 2025 at 3:11 AM
It's hard for Minnesotans to afford their lives when businesses are trying to deceive them. An ad for "11% OFF EVERYTHING" clearly implies you can buy goods at an 11% discount, not that you can participate in a limited rebate program or get in-store credit on future purchases.

BREAKING: My office reached a nationwide settlement with Kia & Hyundai that requires them to install ignition cylinder protectors (pictured below) in their theft-prone vehicles for free.

This will protect Kias & Hyundais from the kinds of viral thefts we've these past few years.

Too many Minnesotans have lost money to subscriptions they thought they canceled or didn’t realize they signed up for in the first place, and that’s unacceptable. I’m suing Uber to stop these predatory business practices and force them to do right by the people of Minnesota.

Minnesotans are counting on our state to keep energy costs down, create good paying jobs, and combat climate change. Wind energy helps us achieve all those goals.

I will always do everything I can to ensure Minnesotans can afford their lives with dignity, safety, and respect.

Tonight, I’ll be joining Anderson Cooper on @cnn.com to talk about standing up to Trump’s racist attacks on our Somali neighbors. I hope you’ll tune in to watch, I’m going on at 7:25p CT.
December 3, 2025 at 11:45 PM
Donald Trump’s disgraceful attacks on Minnesota’s Somali community are injecting more of his poisonous racism into our beloved home state. Hearing him single out our people based solely on their race and country of origin is downright disgusting.

My job as AG is to help Minnesotans afford their lives, which means guarding against predatory lending practices.

I am launching an inquiry into buy-now pay-later companies to determine whether they comply with Minnesota law and treat consumers fairly.
December 2, 2025 at 4:29 PM
In this time of unprecedented attacks on our freedoms and the rule of law, I'm grateful for the opportunity to defend the people of Minnesota as your Attorney General.

Happy Thanksgiving, Minnesota.

I am shocked and appalled by the shooting of two members of the National Guard in Washington D.C. today.

There's still a lot we don't know about the shooting. In the meantime, I'm hoping the victims fully recover. My prayers are with them and their loved ones.

If the Trump gets his way, tens of thousands of formerly homeless people will end up getting evicted from their homes through no fault of their own.

I will not sit back and allow this administration to throw families out on the street.
