They’re trying to run the Kilmar Abrego Garcia playbook with a five year old boy in a bunny hat because nobody can find peace if they embarrass the Trump administration publicly. Normal people didn’t like it with Garcia and they really aren’t going to like it for Liam.

kinda crazy that Sega seems to be the jp company most (perhaps too) concerned with how they are perceived globally and then just puts out that shit saying 'we knowingly hired a sexual predator, him being a sexual predator got him the job'

Spiking the Kamala Harris endorsement can be rationalized as something that was done on the opinion side of the newspaper so less dire, but management spiking a news story means the outlet is official dead.
Scoop w/ @nataliekorach.bsky.social: Washington Post leadership spiked a story that had been prepared by the newspaper's media desk, covering the historic layoffs at the Jeff Bezos-owned newspaper. Details in @status.news: link.status.news/4ai6W4C

This is Iraq War style propaganda: They make the face of a well-researched, (near) academic consensus, that isn't egregiously controversial among experts on the subject... and make the face of it a famous but uncredentialed young woman so they can pretend it's vacuous and naive.

Bet this shithead only lets his kids watch Sheriff Labrador.
In Congress on Tuesday, Josh Hawley said "about half" of Netflix programming for kids promotes woke or transgender ideologies. Source? His ass. And this is why we can't work with Republicans. They do not exist in reality. You can't find common ground with that.

gamesoftrobo.ghost.io It's probably gonna take a while still, but I'm in the process of annotating Cipher The Video, the anime OVA so contextless and so American it's become a meme. I read the manga recently and like many OVAs from back then it alludes to source in ways only readers can understand.

The RGG stuff reminds me back to what I keep saying about franchises in general, where you don't have to hitch your entire self to franchises. You can enjoy one or two of a thing in one and that's fine. Other things exist, go find something new maybe. You know how many games/films/shows exist?

I had a good time with the demo.

Multitasking third-person-shooter gameplay and the little grid minigame feels fun.

Hoping it doesn’t run longer than your average Resident Evil though.
