Living in Washington DC on January 6, 2021, was painful & awful, which is why I so vividly remember Kenny Omega doing a 5-star match that night. My GOAT. Fenix was pretty great too, but unfortunately he retired in 2025.

I don't think this is a bluesky-specific issue. The entire country (maybe the world?) feels sad, angry, foul tempered and mean at the moment. The people currently in charge hate all of us, which is a tough way to go through daily life.
I’m going to be taking a break from Bluesky for a while.
There’s a lot of good here but increasingly this place just makes me sad and angry and, increasingly, foul tempered and mean. It’s not good for me or anyone else.

I don't think this is a bluesky-specific issue. The entire country (maybe the world?) feels sad, angry, foul tempered and mean at the moment. The people currently in charge hate all of us, which is a tough way to go through daily life.

One of the most significant features of this current moment in Republican Party history is that it’s the ideological weirdos on the right edge of the party who’ve been the most willing to stand up to Trump. The supposedly principled moderates have been mostly spineless.
