JUUUST wanted to give a quick update. Computer is going into the shop for a week for its guts to be swapped out to its new case and to have Linux installed (probably @linuxmint.com) in the morn. Just backing up the last of my stuff.

I am literally helping a trans Latina friend who fled the U.S. for Canada RIGHT NOW and seeing these rich yt ladies say “IDGAF about our Black and Brown siblings being at increased risk of murder bc I am vaguely annoyed that democrats aren’t perfect” is horrifying but unsurprising.

Absolutely brain dead take. Trans people did start with employment, housing, and healthcare. There are cases dating back decades such as Smith v. Salem in 2004 and Glenn v Brumby in 2011! Many states passed anti discrimination laws well over a decade ago. He has no idea what he's talking about.
