@rebell.bsky.social's 8x8 method along with the lands videos have been a beacon of keeping focus on what I want a deck to do
When you have to attribute a specific category to the cards you are choosing, you analyze those cards more as well as see the cards you gravitate too

What is a small tip or trick you've applied to your deckbuilding that has made a huge difference?
It could be something as simple as "swap out something iffy for a land" or as specific as "don't run thought vessel in a discard deck".

The New Avengers is one of the standout series I’ve been reading in the past few months. It’s incredibly fun and the team is a great take on a Thunderbolts like team against the Avengers*

My Standard Dimir Control deck and sideboard guide is up on TCGPlayer! Reid Duke, Matt Sperling and I had a combined 70% winrate at the Pro Tour with the deck and I think it lines up well against some of the break out decks from PT Lorwyn Eclipsed.

So that's the magic of everybody talking about 1GW data centers - this is a very new concept! they are all working it out as they go along.
are all those different players normal for data centers? Like as a layperson I’d have expected maybe the land, buildings, power, etc to be owned by one party, leased it to a second who furnishes it, and sells capacity and that’s it.

I think the bigger problem of using precons as a baseline, which we already know is a goof, is requiring someone to know what an average precon is like in construction and play style is actually quite involved and not helpful for a pod of newer players lol
It's not anyone's fault, but the "precons are a 2" thing from the original bracket explanation was a HUGE mistake. Almost every pre-con commander printed recently is absolute gas, and almost any change you make to those lists make them a strong 3 if they weren't already there out of the box.
