I'm just a little concerned that the focus on the phrasing of intent is being stretched so far that saying cards in general is intended to be played in anywhere, regardless of castability is ignoring the somewhat unique 'intent' of hybrid cards and their castability.

Saying if we allow Hybrid = Pact of Negation is playable in a red deck (not saying you are saying this just using this as an example), is one level divorced from the focus of the change based on the conversation of INTENT as a whole, and I wished we focused on things like Kitchen Finks.

What I'm about to say is bad practice and bad policy, but there is some level of uniqueness in intent behind hybrid cards with specific OR clauses in its casting cost, and if there was a change to be made it should be limited in a way that it fits for the intuitive focus of the conversation.
