"People are paying $550 to play Virtual Boy games" is a nice throwback to the PS5 launch when people were saying it actually cost $1500, because you had to buy a $1000 TV to play it

You don't need to buy the accessories to play Virtual Boy games on the Switch, you can just cross your eyes like a magic eye puzzle and watch an incredibly tiny display (I do not recommend actually doing this for any extended time)

I finished the Dragon Quest 1 remake, it was nice. A very simple game that didn't need quite so much expansion, but it was a pleasant return to a favorite world. I'm taking an RPG break before diving into the remake of 2.

Rewatching George Romero's The Amusement Park as a follow up to watching The Night of the Hunted.
I don't like it when a game offers two difficulty levels and they're "here's the regular game" and "mode where you're literally invincible." I'm not opposed to having that kind of mode available but an easier mode that still offers some kind of challenge is good to have.
