I think it's cool when something that seems good is a big hit even if it's absolutely not for me. Stardew Valley isn't a game I enjoy but it's such a cool success story and it makes so many people happy, it's great! I'm glad it's out there.

I haven't been a practicing Catholic in twenty years but I actually think confessionals are a great public service. Just, without the prayer sentencing that comes with it. Therapists are expensive, it's hard to find a good one, and there's something to be said for the physical privacy of confession.

Kirby Air Riders is the best game I've ever been this bad at, I absolutely can't follow what's going on and always come in last place but it's still really exciting! The last game that felt like this for me was Marvel vs Capcom 2.

The final act is ridiculous and a lot of fun, Barbara and the fishmen are great, the rest is just kind of there, but I had a good time!

Movie Time: Island of the Fishmen, 1979, my third Sergio Martino of the year. Unfortunately this disc was published by Full Moon and not Serverin like those other two, so it's very cheap. No language options, no captions, rough sound mix.

In between the Rogue Lite stages are Metroid Castlevania castles. They're better, but still, lol the map design is abysmal. You can enter rooms directly on top of enemy spawn points and die before you can move.

I can't go straight from a week of partying to a day of rest, slamming on the breaks that hard is like a shock for me and I feel real weird and restless. Even if I'm exhausted I just don't want to stop going.

I've got an entire friend circle that I can't play any kind of games with (card games specifically) because I do not enjoy being trash talked. I've been on the receiving end of enough in my life, I don't want it for "fun."
