"Hey nerd, anime and manga are lame!
Anyways here's my favorite sports game from the 90s with kick ass music and slick cutaway animations and vibrant visuals that was totally unlike the other sports games from the time, and this cool company Tecmo made it"

I can't say this is the first time I've been convinced to play a video game by a meme account on the internet, and it probably won't be the last.

@quest64official.bsky.social , wish me luck!

The coolest thing about not being locked up in the 90s style review cycle is.....not everything needs a grade/number or 1 to 1 comparison to another game.
We can just talk about games and what we like about them

For example, this wonderful talk about Demonschool!
💀 new video! 💀

the comparison between demonschool and persona makes a lot of sense on a high level, but you don't need to scratch too deep to find it has a completely different design ethos when it comes to crafting a life-sim rpg.

So
Is everyone cool with 2 of the 6 Game of the Year candidates openly using generative AI?

Or is there some type of sliding scale between Clair Obscur>Kingdom Come>The Alters>Black OPs?

If Clair Obscur wins this year....how many GOTY nominees in the top 6 will feature AI art next year?
