Happy day of Trans remembrance to those who we have lost to hate, senseless violence and mental illness. I am grateful to be here and continue this life even in its current timeline. #transdayofremembrance #trans

Sitting at the reception area and listening to someone defend JKR and talk about trans people as predators and reader 100% I just burst in like the Kool Aid man. Like, I just railed this guy. I am still stilling here like a glowing coil. I need to be removed or I will throw him off the balcony.

Watching the DNC is like watching a horror movie where the villian is right behind the cast members, and they ignore it, and also they can hear you screaming warnings from the audience at them, and they find it irritating.

So the oldest person ever to become president keeps falling asleep in his office during public events and there’s no big public discussion on how this is a coverup or how republicans are lying to us about how this government is running?

When any President can pardon his many accomplices convicted for many election-related crimes the legal system has collapsed.
This current system of government is rubbish and destined for the trash.

“Mar-a-Lago Face” is such a fascinating phenomenon to me. This section of history will read like a communist agitprop SF novel.

“The ruling class sculpted their features to appeal to the leader - gaudy, conspicuous, apart from the masses. The neo-übermensch would be designer, from dress to flesh.”

This is why ousting Schumer isn't enough. Democratic senators don't pressure each other much, they have weak leadership by design, and they want to preserve arcane Senate rules that let them hide behind process.

Without primaries or massive outside pressure, this is where they'll be.
“There’s no real appetite to oust Schumer, though. Nor is there any interest from another Democrat to challenge him, according to interviews with more than a dozen Democratic senators.” @punchbowlnews.bsky.social

Oh Sen Dems are not in disarray - they are in array - in their collective cowardice.

The model of holding individual senators responsible is broken here. The retirees clearly agreed to take the fall. Which is why the nos should get no credit for voting no unless they move to oust Schumer

Since the Democrats worked extra hard to hide who actually supported this, I think the No Kings/Resistance position should be to primary every Democrat unless they publicly call for Schumer's ouster this week

Either they go into total rebellion mode, which they won't, or the people will

at this point, I kinda don’t know what else the Dems could do to tell anyone to the left of Biden to fuck off any harder than they already have and yet you still clamor to reform these people who hate your fucking guts and would be happy if you died
CNN, CBS, others report that at least 8 Dems have reached a deal to end the shutdown
