Well, in terms of who is propping up the stock price, (as opposed to paying some of Elon's subcompanies, like the SpacEx people and Starlink, who are definitely being paid by the taxpayers,) it's institutional investors -- mutual funds, pension funds, etc. They will need to unwind their investments.

I would be much more willing to believe Joe Biden's harshest critics were acting in good faith if they spent half as much energy going after Trump.
