Wonderful, wonderful!
the single most celebrated holiday in the world is various countries observing a national holiday to mark when they kicked the English out
I thought disliking the English was the shared culture for all the world’s people

Pretty great stuff here!
Jesus was clear about treating people justly & loving thy neighbor. The gop motto of, "let's round people up & put them in concentration camps", is about racism & hate.

If hearing that upsets someone who claims to be Christian, then it sounds like their real problem is with Jesus 😇.

Well, this is an insanely useful metric, isn't it? Gotta memorize it!

Also, no wonder people are pissed off!
this is abt 22% if the total population out on the streets, demanding a better deal.
this is like if roughly 70M americans protested at once.
Thats half the number of people in the US that are ALICE, asset limited-income constrained-employed

Right. If we go by Trump approval rating, it's well less than half.

When we recognize that a lot of people don't pay attention and don't have an opinion, it shrinks further.

Hear, hear! I've been harping on this for the past year. It's not "half" it's probably not even a third. Of the polls that are done, it's barely 30% of people they polled. Media, and people on social media, use these lazy terms all the time. They're wrong.

"Half the country thinks—"

Stop right there. Some politicians, media figures, and influencers might, but they're nowhere close to half.

Good piece by @dennycarter.bsky.social about efforts to make TPUSA halftime, the Melania movie, etc appear popular so that people think America's evenly divided.
Wrote about the Turning Point USA Super Bowl halftime show and the Melania movie as the latest in a larger project to make the American right *seem* far more popular and culturally relevant than it actually is.

Liars, Damn Liars, and the Sociopaths who Enable Them.
I have so much contempt for people like this. Your entire remit was to find out whether children were being pressured into drugs and surgeries. Your own findings indicate tiny numbers, long assessments & high satisfaction.

So what do you do? You go to the press & pretend it's still an open debate

Holy fucksticks, people! Most important Epstein news in quite a while. Just as "following the money" is always fruitful, "examining the numbers," is a very powerful way to understand a huge important conspiracy.

Excellent plan! I didn't realize that there were some mediocre measles vaccines in use in the 1970's -- yow! I hope your update blows right past you, as mine did!

And I'll salute you when I see you in that hospital parking lot in June. I'll be the one with the thermometer, checking people in.
There was also a less effective measles vax that was in use up through 1980, I believe - so there are a couple cohorts that could benefit from a booster.

I have to pick up a prescription tomorrow & I'll ask the pharmacist if they can hit me with it while I'm there.

Most of these Trumpist fuckers are eugenicists. They themselves vaccinate their children and elders, but they prosletyze against them, retard vaccine development, and pass laws that injure public health. They confuse luck with fitness & want preventable diseases to kill you while they remain safe.
Measles is a bellwether. Because it’s the most contagious vaccine-preventable disease, when vaccination rates drop, it’s the first to start spreading.

Now we’ve got mumps rolling up.

Expect more.

This is just the beginning of RFK Jr.’s successful infectious disease reintroduction plan.

Has anybody posted the "let them fight" meme yet? So funny that these guys are pretending to be worried about their reputations when they have so much more money than they could ever need to escape any consequences.
Over in Hell, the billionaires are fighting with each other over who hung out with Epstein more. 🍿
