It’s been about 3 weeks since Wellington joined the HERD. Completely broke the 3-3-3 rule of adjustment. He took one day to decompress. Two weeks to learn our routine. Today he grabbed a ball & a bed announcing that he’s home.

Yesterday I tried adding a rug to the living room floor plan. Sia didn’t seem to like it at first, but she did take some steps. Today, Scooch/avoid. I think she has hyper sensitivity in her feet and it may actually hurt her a little bit. I removed that rug and… she struts! #OperationUnstoppable

Notes: Batty has longer runs staying straight but still has rapid circling behavior. Head tilt is nearly gone. Not a doctor believes his eardrums have mended. Since moving him in with the girls he’s developing learned behavior and drinks water by itself! Still prefers Herdmom.

Welly was cleared by Dr Mike to go see if our eye guy Dr Violette can restore his vision. Cataracts- not as severe as Catherine O’Hara (50%) if we can restore his view I’d like to give him that gift.

Today, I am thankful for coats to keep me warm. The dogs are thankful for built-in coats.
I am also thankful for pants. Especially pants for the parapups. And that James Earl Jones still has his pants on.

Today is 60 days since Sia started therapy to recover from paralysis. We will continue acupuncture every other week. Our primary focus is continuing to build muscle in those back legs.
