If you truly care about young people’s experience on the internet, you should pass comprehensive data privacy legislation and oppose any bill that forces Internet users to submit to ID checks or would censor the internet, like the SCREEN Act, App Store Accountability Act, and KOSA
additionally, I want to advocate for section 230, which I have seen multiple legislators call for repealing. Section 230 is integral to a free and open internet, and repealing it would destroy the internet as we know it and countless livelihoods. I do not want to see section 230 repealed, I want to see it protected.
