Hello to everyone following me because you clicked on the Lancer TTRPG Creators Starter Pack thinking "eh, why not," you may know from things like "nothing" or "who the fuck is this guy?" My name is Kai Tave, and sometimes I work on the #LancerRPG in various capacities. Here's the stuff I've done

There's a layer to this that goes unsaid too often; these things are not core and inherent to the world, and we can craft processes that can rid us of them. That they were stopped and fought against shows how fragile their place in our world is and how easily we could shrug them off.
we didn't finish denazification. we didn't finish desegregation. we didn't finish reconstruction. every opportunity for transformative change was deliberately sabotaged by american leaders who knew their wealth would not survive a world freed from eugenics, white supremacy, and war profiteering.
people do understand that the nuremberg trials were largely show trials to distract from the fact that the US was poaching any high profile nazis that were beneficial to their cause & that denazification in the west sectors didn't really take off

I’m so much more interested in what their orders are when ICE starts shooting.
Minnesota National Guard members have arrived at a federal building and were directed to distribute donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate to anti-ICE protesters. Guard members were issued reflective vests so they would not be mistaken for federal agents.

a LOT of people are very comfortable admitting that ICE atrocities simply did not matter to them until it affected us citizens.

How DID we get here? It's a big mystery, must be the fault of all those pesky undecideds

Crazy to find out my senator has a number of people murdered by secret police he thinks is too many and the number is two but only if they’re white
Sen. Dick Durbin, another one of the 8 Democratic YES votes on Nov funding bill, is a NO on this DHS measure: “I will not vote to fund the illegal DHS and ICE operations that terrorize Chicago, Minneapolis, and many other communities.”

This bill doesn’t have the votes.

They haven't "lost" any of the right-wing dipshits, said dipshits are just a little upset because the feds iced what they understand to be a white gun guy who wasn't gay in broad daylight. This will be out of their ecosystem in 48 hours.

"It's unacceptable to have elected officials throw gas on this fire," I say after having voted to back up a tanker truck to the fire and open the valves
One of the Spineless Seven democrats who voted for ICE funding this week, now feigning outrage:

But you see, these AREN’T the only 7 Democrats who supported giving ICE more money. The Democrats OVERALL support it. These 7 are just the latest rotating villains selected to take the fall while the rest pretend to oppose to fundraise. That’s why it’s always EXACTLY enough Dem support votes to pass
these are the 7 house democrats who voted to give ICE another $10 billion on thursday btw

What bait did he take this time @governorwalz.mn.gov? What did he do to deserve it so you can criticize the protestors now? You want Trump to come and do a little walk now so you can talk it out while his gang kidnaps and murders people in the street? Gonna tell the natties and state pd to gas them?
"We will combat the paramilitary gangs of the dictator by making sure we have evidence of their crimes for some future date, and call our own armed forces to make sure that you don't get too angry about it." isn't a fuckin' winning messaging strategy from the governor and mayor now is it.

"Accountability" to who, exactly?
ICE and DHS are out of control and making our communities less safe.

I will not support funding for DHS without clear accountability and stronger controls over the agency.

It is time for the Senate to do its job and rein in this lawlessness.

in light of today's events, i want to share a story i was told during a study abroad summer in italy, where i took a class on the rise of fascism.

the picture below is the site of a mass grave. captive partisans were brought here by nazis, forced to dig, and then executed on the spot.

Completely insane. AltNPS claimed to know the name of Alex Pretti's killer, refused to say it because "the truth always comes out," and then just deleted the post.

A man was executed on the street in my hometown, and AltNPS is using that as an excuse to vaguepost for attention.

i think a strong, consistent personal commitment to pacifism is worthy of respect

but "listen up, fives! a ten is speaking! the plan is: we're all gonna get killed, and then we win" pacifism is just some fucking horseshit — 10000x so if you're not the first person getting their head bashed by a cop

People got so uncomfortable about that Ta-Nehisi Coates quote about how if you didn't draw the line at Gaza, you can't draw the line at democracy
I would argue there is a throughline here with every Palestinian in Gaza being called a terrorist
Stephen Miller calls the deceased “a domestic terrorist.”

You could actually structure your moral code around the idea that law enforcement doesn't exist to execute people. You don't have to create perfect victim narratives, you can just refuse to accept that the state gets to kill people.

they've taken your demands for justice and abolition and turned it into a demand for more funding and a deeper integration into our society. Nobody in government is entertaining the idea of getting rid of ICE and anything you do to try and force them will be rerouted into more funds, more guns.
