I keep saying, and continue to say, that a lot of these schools "gave up" because they wanted to do the shit Trump was demanding they do anyway, and he gave them a pretext for it, the same way major corporations "gave up" by rolling back all their DEI initiatives they clearly wanted to ditch

Personally, I think the idea that all women should be measured by the failures of Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris is actually a sort of sexist doomerism.
I actually think that if you've made a career out of calling for violence and emboldening calls thereof, that having to taste your own medicine is in fact not only deserved but the moderate option in terms of consequences
No one should have to face such threats.
