Thanksgiving is... frought, ancestor-wise.
I'm a Mayflower descendant, so on the one hand I know that my direct ancestor Elizabeth Hopkins was right there cooking for the first one.
But I also know that Stephen Hopkins was out there stealing seed corn from Wampanoag caches.
So... yeah.
