I hear that, occasionally. I countered that mindset early by posting a giant “WHAT IF EVERYBODY DID THAT?” sign in the classroom.
It came up again the other day regarding leash laws.
Reasoning: Why are you mad? His dog is behaving very well without a leash.
Rebuttal: *Taps the sign*

you can either regulate, add subsidies, and/or expand public insurance programs, or:
The new Republican plan same as the old Republican plan: Fucking die already.
Rick Scott told me his plan would be to take all of the remaining ACA subsidies and redistribute them to HSA accounts and people can then buy whatever insurance a state certifies. Basically a repeal/replace.
He denied when I asked wouldn’t that create two-tiered system where sick pay much more…

Yes, and one of the arguments for the ACA is that it would enable people to start businesses because they wouldn’t be chained to a job and its health insurance. Cassidy’s plan is anti-entrepreneurial, pro job lock.

Not to mention that there's no place called the "Miracle Mile Shopping Center" in Chicago? He is maybe talking about Water Tower Place or Michigan Avenue more broadly. But right now he's advocating troops for a nonexistent location.
