In 1993 my friend tried to teach me to play bass because he wanted me to join his band. He started with "Lithium" which I could kinda get but not really. He said "you're no Krist Novoselic" and dropped the idea. Later he became a MAGA/Alex Jones conspiracy theorist, so I disappointed him once again.
I really need people outside of Seattle to know how much Krist Novoselic sucks

When I worked for Reason magazine during Trump's rise to power in 2016, I was explicitly forbidden by the editor in chief from writing about Trump's racism, or the violence and racism at his rallies.

It was a "sideshow," I was told.
Weird. I tried to warn libertarians about Trump

one of my favorite superbowl memories was the time I lightly criticized one of the commercials on twitter and some ad executive had like a seven tweet crashout in my mentions

my contribution to olive discourse: I haven't had them since I was a kid but yes, they are perfectly cromulent on tacos; also good on pizza but I am a psychopath who likes green olives on pizza

my most polarizing food opinion is that I like pepperoni, green olives, extra mozz

I was today years old, I am sorry to admit, when I learned dildos can expire. Just one more glorious thing you learn in the struggle against fascism and hey, can a dildo be said to have outlived its purpose when it can still be chucked at an ICE goon?
At Whipple where expired dicks are being thrown at ICE vehicles and those believed to be agitators. The area has been a place of protest since thousands of federal agents arrived in the city.

ICE has grabbed so many people from their vehicles that there are abandoned cars across Minnesota.

This tow truck driver returns the cars for free as a public service, and he’s been getting death threats.

They hate the helpers.

Which is why must keep helping.

Juan Leon sends a "chase" car to check out where abandoned vehicles are located and arranges discreet drop-offs. Since late December, he estimated they have dropped off 250 cars.
