Alice Wong was one of the most effective people challenging the Whiteness of disability communities and its many flaws, but who believed fiercely in us as a community, in disabled people as oracles.

Alice brought so much to so many of us, it’s hard to measure the kind of gratitude I have for that.

I continue to think it is easy to connect these issues

'We could spend our time and money serving the public; Republicans spend their time and your money protecting pedophiles'

'We want to make it easier for you to get by; they want to make it easier for Trump to get away with child abuse'
The usual suspects are telling Dems that Epstein won’t win elections, get back to “affordability” and I think my head might explode. www.offmessage.net/p/force-a-re...
Force A Referendum On The Epstein Coverup
It divides Republicans much more than "affordability" or any other economic issue.

Jamar Clark should still be alive.

10 years ago today MPD officers Mark Ringgenberg and Dustin Schwarze murdered this unarmed man in North Minneapolis.

Thinking about his family and those that held down the 4th Precinct for 18 days.

I think that if you say that assaulting a 15-year-old isn’t really pedophilia, or is substantively different/less bad than assaulting a younger child, *on television*, you shouldn’t be able to have a functional life outside your home. People should be telling you what kind of person you are all day.

Also please remember that Monica Lewinsky jokes make a punchline of workplace sexual harassment and her subsequent public humiliation

Thank you @dexanderson.com and everyone else involved in this. As someone who has been DFL endorsed in the past, this current iteration of the DFL does not represent me.

MN DFL needs to be better than this. Y'all can't keep channelling Wellstone and pulling antics like this.

🧵 in this quote.
So, I've been contemplating whether or not to say this, and had hoped I would have a chance to tell Richard this to his face last night, but he bolted out of that room right quick.

But one of the things that's been clear to me since I launched A Better DFL? People are hungry for change.

"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.
