It’s too late now. Mpls voted to re-elect him- but this is another example of Frey dodging accountability.

Amazing how he does that, consistently.

It's been 10 year since Jamar Clark was shot and killed in North Minneapolis. The uprising in 2020 is hard to imagine without the work of activists and people who showed up in 2015 to demand better and we're going to spend years grappling to understand the impacts of summer 2020's reckoning.

For all that, fed prosecutors filed no criminal charges against anyone who was arrested.

Stunning report.

With current pledges, the world's on track for 2.6°C of warming in 2100 compared to preindustrial levels.

10 years ago, before the Paris agreement, it was 3.6°C

20+ years ago, we thought it would be 4-5°C

So 2.6°C is better, but the problem is that climate impacts are way worse than we predicted.
World still on track for catastrophic 2.6C temperature rise, report finds
Fossil fuel emissions have hit a record high while many nations have done too little to avert deadly global heating

If this is the gift at the end of the world I’ll take it. If this is a reminder of what we’re fighting for—the beauty and wonder that we get to share with each other—then let’s fight together.

The data is starting to turn favorable!!! ...of course, this can flip at anytime.

BUT As of now I am heading out to the car to drive north and take a look. Can't update much after this so on your own

If you were to ask me at this very minute, if it's worth going out, I would say yes!

Good luck!

You still have time to plan for tonight.

Go to lightpollutionmap.info. Try to get yourself into at least yellow, green or blue.

This makes all the difference in the world.

If you can get north of Anoka county on 35N, you're pretty much good to go. Farther is better.

Minnesota, if hoping for aurora again tonight...sit tight

Last night was too easy. Once in decade sort of easy. Usually have to try, fail & travel far, many times over, to see that

Still good chance but data is not screamin like 24 hrs ago

Welcome to aurora chasing. Hard & frustrating 95% of time

I just did a real life spit take of a huge drink of coffee when my husband said something dumb/hilarious. Nearly choked to death laughing.

How often does that happen in life? Maybe 3 times?

Truly one of the great human experiences.

Another great thing about Finland is they index traffic tickets to your income. A senior engineer friend of mine traded in his BMW for a Kia to decrease the chance of EVER getting a $20,000 speeding ticket.

I reserve the right to bed rot as I had planned.

If you like less side effects, this might be the flavor for you!
Getting my Covid jab later.

Planned it so I can crawl into bed at 6:30pm and not reemerge until Monday morning.
