Anyway a great way to radicalize people is for them to realize that you just abandoned their chance at being able to access and afford health care because you didn’t like waiting in line at the airport.

- House CR extended to January 30, no RIFs permitted until then

There’s no one I trust less than Donald Trump and Mike Johnson.

Any deal that relies on Republicans to keep their word is a bad one.

Democrats can’t give up on affordable health care for an empty promise. Minnesotans can’t afford for Democrats to cave.

I don't know what the Senate is going to do. But if they do in fact fold in exchange for nothing, they will be living up to past performance. To expect the Senate to carry out the will of the American people is to misunderstand why it was created in the first place.

Shutting down the government is a big deal. People have been hurt in big ways as a result of the decision. To have that suffering be for nothing—to re-open the government without actually having protected people’s health insurance and economic well-being—is unconscionable.

I signed up. Join me at precinct caucuses.
Hi Minnesotan Bluesky:

The DFL has a well-known transphobia problem. I'm organizing to change the party platform in 2026 to be explicitly supportive of trans people in Minnesota. This will provide a basis for expelling transphobia from our party.

as long as there are people in poverty, no one in this whole fucking country should have a salary of 500k are you fucking for real?? no one’s job is ten times as important as a teacher’s. no one’s work is ten times as important as a public defender’s or a school counselor’s or a cook’s.
how can i be expected to give my students the grade they deserve if i’m paid shit? may as well accept the bribes from the competitive parents.

oh right, i have fucking ethics despite my low pay!!

“our politicians MUST be millionaires or else they’ll be corrupt!!” y’all are fucking pathetic i swear
ryan is right. people HATE hearing this. but it is just a matter of simple incentives. if you want a more representative legislature — and if you want a legislature more resistant to corruption — then you need to jack up the salaries. serving as mayor of NYC should net you a cool 500K *at least*

I moved to StP because @melvincarter.bsky.social inspired me to make this my home. I even chose my house because it's where I did the most doorknocking for him and I fell in love with my neighborhood. Saint Paul has never had a better cheerleader. Thank you for your dedication to this city.

I was the first voter in Saint Paul,45 days ago. I just got my first and only doorknocker tonight. It was my friend Rick Varco. A few minutes later I got my only phonebank call...from Halla Henderson. I love Saint Paul politics, as much as I want they to be over. VOTE YES TWICE!
